Working on the backdrop , tablecloth , costumes and props , not forgetting our acting too ! This has been one exhilarating rollercoaster ride , having to find a venue to meet was one of our problems but we did it , as a director , it has been quite stressful trying to keep everyone cooperate in the group , but I am fortunate to have a wonderful group . Even a little contribution had help the group a lot . The waiting for our turn to act was one extremely stressful moment , we had to prepare our props , get dress and practice our lines . We were stressed that we kept losing things , but lucky we manage to find them before rehearsal , we barely had time for one rehearsal , with many pairs of eyes staring at us , I am sure we all have butterflies in our stomach , seeing my group performed greatly , I know that our efforts were not in vain . Literary devices can be imagery and figurative language or sound devices . Read through without stopping for the first time and for second time , choose words and phrases that is difficult to understand or interesting . Take note of your feelings to where your attention is drawn to . Make notes but try to make sure if they are short and sweet .&lt;div&gt;         Read the poem swiftly to get an idea of what the text is about for first reading , get a better understanding , observe the mood and setting if the poem and see how the characters are related for second reading . At the third reading , take a look at the questions on the text , take notes in the poem where you may find the answer . Then try to understand the meaning of the difficult words . &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;          I also learn to use the IBC and PEEL technique . To be honest , my group did not did well as expected as we are unable to meet up , so we did our own costume individually then we see where our costume needs improvements . Even though we used garbage bag as clothes , but we spiced it up by cutting off all the sides , not just one hole on each side to put our arms in , then we used a bright yellow piece of plastic-rope to tie around our waist to not just to prevent the garbage bag from flying around against the wind but also to stand out from other people also wearing garbage bag . I think among the class Izzul had the most confidence , he manages to get our attention by starting off with an "evil laugh" . Honestly , I think my work is a one quarter compared to the other classes . They write for more thn 2 paragraphs , while mine is just one paragraph . They can elaborate a 35 minute lesson into two - three paragraphs. &lt;div&gt;After showing the examples , Mrs Woo did a file check with us and had gone through our literature common test topics , the topics consist of cinquain , memorising Act 1 Scene 1 of macbeth ( original text ) and Act 2 Scene 2 would be like a conprehension type question , with plot , characterisation and meanings.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;After goining through the topics , Mrs Woo got us in groups to present our "predictions " we had discussed last lesson. Some of our predictions sounded like fiction and made up .For Macbeth ,he heard the predictions from the three witches that he was gonna be king . He killed everyone just to be king ... They showed a remarkable bravery despite knowing they may humiliate themselves .
